CHEF VALENTINE WARNER -
Whilst chef Valentine Warner is now well known for his popular BBC series What to Eat Now, he had been destined to a life of paintbrushes and blank canvas, having studied portrait painting at the Byam Shaw School of Art and enjoyed a 'reasonably successful' career as a painter. However, his career as a painter was short-lived when he decided to pursue his first love...food.
Valentine grew up on a farm in Dorset, learning to fish, shoot and cook from a young age, a childhood which no doubt served him well for his life in the professional kitchens of Alastair Little and others.
There are a wide variety of skills explored during this introductory course that include pan seasoning, forging, forming and riveting the different parts together - No previous experience required.
The goal of this course is that each participant will take home their own hand made cookware and to have learnt new and exciting cookery skills.
